🌿 What Did God Say Before You Were Born?

“About this time a man and woman from the tribe of Levi got married. The woman became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She saw that he was a special baby and kept him hidden for three months.”
Exodus 2:1–2

🌟 Heaven Speaks Before Earth Sees

Before your first cry, before your first breath — Heaven had already spoken your name.
Every birth is the echo of a divine conversation. You are not an accident. You are an answer.

When Moses was born, his mother “saw that he was a special baby.” She saw destiny, not just a newborn. Heaven had whispered something into her spirit. Her spiritual eyes were opened to a divine revelation concerning the child she carried. She understood that this was not an ordinary baby - this was a deliverer in disguise.

Moses wasn’t her first child, but she knew this one was different. That knowledge was spiritual, not physical. It was revelation knowledge — the kind that comes from God alone.

1️⃣ Destiny Is Announced Before Birth

Throughout Scripture, a powerful pattern emerges: God announces His great works before they manifest on earth.

  • Samson: Before his birth, an angel appeared to his mother saying, “You will become pregnant and give birth to a son who will begin to rescue Israel” (Judges 13:4–6)..
  • John the Baptist: “He will be great in the sight of the Lord” (Luke 1:15).
  • Jesus: “You shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21).

Such destinies do not arrive unannounced. Heaven always sends a signal before a divine vessel enters the world.

Even in our modern times, Prophet TB Joshua’s birth followed this same pattern. His mother carried him for 15 months — far beyond the natural time — and received dreams and visions concerning the child in her womb. She named him Temitope, meaning “This gift is worth my thanksgiving to God.” She saw his purpose before the world ever knew his name.

2️⃣ What Did Your Mother See Before You Were Born?

“My people perish for lack of knowledge.” — Hosea 4:6

What dreams did your mother have while carrying you? What names were spoken over you? What spiritual encounters surrounded your birth?

This question may sound simple, but it carries deep spiritual weight.
Many destinies have been buried under ignorance because families failed to interpret divine encounters.

“My people perish for lack of knowledge.” — Hosea 4:6

Some mothers, like Moses’ or Samson’s, received dreams, angelic visitations, or strange experiences during pregnancy — but due to lack of spiritual understanding, they took their children to the wrong places for “dedication,” unknowingly reversing or diverting the child’s divine purpose.

Others, out of fear or cultural influence, named their children according to ancestral patterns, not heavenly prophecy. A wrong name can carry a wrong declaration. And words shape destiny.

So many destinies are buried because what Heaven announced was never understood or was distorted by cultural, traditional, or demonic influences. A wrong name, a misguided dedication, or an ungodly vow can derail a divine destiny.

3️⃣ The Battle Over Birth: Satan Fights Purpose from the Womb

Every destiny is born into warfare. That is why Pharaoh commanded all male Hebrew babies to be killed when Moses was born — because the enemy saw what God was bringing into the world.

Satan always attacks potential before it matures.
He fought Jesus through Herod’s sword.
He fought Moses through Pharaoh’s decree.
He fights you through confusion, rejection, or early attacks on your identity.

But take heart — no attack can erase what God has declared.

Even if you were born in strange circumstances — unwanted, unexpected, or under hardship — your birth was not a mistake.
It was a mission in motion.

4️⃣ Ignorance Can Alter Destiny — But Revelation Can Redeem It

Many challenges people face today did not begin yesterday. They began before birth — in wrong dedications, vows, or agreements made in ignorance.

Yet here is the good news:
Even if your foundation was tampered with, God has left a remnant in you — that 1% Satan cannot touch — your free will.

“The devil can never get 100% of a person created by God.” — Prophet TB Joshua

That remaining light within you is enough for Jesus to work with.
If you will surrender your life to Him today, He will rebuild what was broken, recover what was lost, and restore what was stolen from the womb.

5️⃣ How to Rediscover and Redeem Your Birth Destiny

Here are practical spiritual steps you can take:

🕊️ 1. Ask and Inquire

If your mother is still alive, ask her:

  • What did she experience during pregnancy?

  • Were there dreams, strange occurrences, or prophecies?

  • How was your birth dedicated or named?

Sometimes, one conversation can reveal years of mystery.

📖 2. Renounce Ignorant Dedications

If you discover that your family took you to shrines or false altars, renounce it in prayer.
Declare: “Lord Jesus, I disconnect from every altar or dedication that is not of You. I align myself with Your divine purpose.”

🔥 3. Rededicate Your Life to Christ

No matter your background, surrender your destiny to Jesus.
He alone has the authority to rewrite your story.

💧 4. Pray for Revelation

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you your divine assignment through dreams, visions, or His Word.

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” — Jeremiah 33:3

🕯️ 5. Change Every Negative Name or Declaration

If your name contradicts your divine purpose, seek God’s direction to change it.
Names are prophetic — they either speak life or limit destiny.

🌿 You Are Heaven’s Announcement on Earth

You were not randomly born.
You are a spoken word from Heaven, sent to solve a problem on Earth.
Ask. Seek. Discover. Redeem.

Before your birth, there was a conversation in Heaven about your assignment. The problem is not that God did not speak — it is that many have not yet listened.

🙏 Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for giving me life and purpose.
Forgive every ignorance that has altered my divine path.
Today, I renounce every wrong dedication, every negative name, and every curse spoken over my birth.
I rededicate my life to Jesus Christ — the Author of my destiny.
Reveal to me what You said about me before I was born, and help me to walk in it all the days of my life.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

🌾 Finally People of God

Your origin determines your outcome — but your surrender determines your redemption.
Ask your mother. Ask God. Then align your life with His voice.
