DO YOU KNOW THE CERTAINTY OF DEATH SHOULD MAKE YOU PREPARE FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD DAILY?

John 14:1-4, Romans 10:13, Matthew 24:44

💭 “Earth has no sorrow that Heaven does not feel.”
Jesus Christ will not allow anything out of His control to happen to His followers. He is fully aware of your circumstances, and everything that happens is as it should be by His divine will.

REASONS TO BE HOPEFUL

There may be reasons to be sorrowful in this world, but there are greater reasons not to be. Jesus said in John 14:1–4, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?”

💬 The journey to God’s Kingdom is not smooth; it’s a battlefield.
It is full of thorns, snakes, and scorpions, representing troubles, challenges, problems, and even death. But take heart, for:

  • Jesus Christ has conquered death for your sake.

  • He has defeated the combined forces of hell and earth.

  • He is our ultimate source of victory and salvation.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO TO PREPARE FOR GOD’S KINGDOM?

Jesus Christ is calling you to repent and change your ways today. Don’t delay, for the certainty of death is a reminder that we are pilgrims on earth, and our eternal destination depends on the choices we make now.

Here are key steps to prepare daily for the Kingdom of God:

1️⃣ Repentance and Salvation:

  • Sincerely repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

  • Romans 10:13: “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

2️⃣ Meditate on God’s Word:

  • Meditate on the Word of God day and night (Joshua 1:8).

  • Allow it to shape your thoughts, actions, and lifestyle.

  • Faith is not just saying you believe; faith is doing what the Word of God says.

3️⃣ Live with Eternal Perspective:

  • Be conscious of the fact that life on earth is temporary.

  • Live each day as though it’s your last, ensuring your thoughts, words, and actions align with God’s will.

4️⃣ Be Ready Always:

  • The time to prepare for the Kingdom is now, not tomorrow.

  • Matthew 24:44: “So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

FINAL ENCOURAGEMENT

Brethren, don’t wait until it’s too late to turn to Christ. The certainty of death is a call for urgency, a reminder to prepare daily for eternity. Jesus has prepared a place for those who follow Him, but it is up to us to accept His invitation and walk in His ways.

Prayer

🙏 “Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You with a repentant heart. I ask for Your forgiveness and mercy. Establish Your Kingdom in my heart and help me to meditate on Your Word day and night. Guide me to walk on the path of righteousness and prepare me for eternity. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.”
