STOP FOCUSING YOUR PRAYER POINTS ON YOUR ENEMIES

How many enemies do you want to kill? 🤔
As Christians, our battles are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Instead of exhausting your prayers on fighting enemies, focus on the barriers, weaknesses, and bad habits that hinder the Spirit of God from being an effective intermediary between you and the Father.
Key Points to Reflect On:
1️⃣ Pray With Purpose, Not Bitterness:
Many people spend hours praying against their enemies but fail to examine themselves. If your prayers are only about “killing enemies,” you are missing the point of spiritual warfare.
Romans 9:1 says, “With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm it.”
If we pray and don’t hear from God, we need to ask ourselves: Is my heart aligned with His Spirit?
2️⃣ God Uses Your Enemies to Strengthen You:
Your enemies are tools that God uses to:
Strengthen your desire for Him.
Test your faith and determination to stay connected to Him.
Remember Psalms 23:5: “The Lord has prepared a table for me in the presence of my enemies.”
If your enemies are all gone, who will sit at the table to glorify your God?
3️⃣ The Real Barriers Are Internal, Not External:
Many barriers between us and God are within us, not outside. They could be:
Pride 🛑
Unforgiveness 🛑
Fear 🛑
Doubt 🛑
Bad habits 🛑
Instead of praying against people, pray for deliverance from the barriers that block your worship.
What You Should Focus On Instead:
🔑 “God is Spirit, and His worshippers must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24)
Focus your heart on the Celestial—on aligning your soul with God’s Spirit.
💭 Ask yourself:
Am I living in obedience to God’s Word?
Are there habits or weaknesses that hinder my connection with Him?
Am I worshipping Him with a pure and humble heart?
PRAYER POINTS TO BREAK BARRIERS
Instead of shouting at your enemies, let these prayers flow from your heart daily:
🗯 “Lord, let my heart contact Your Spirit today.”
🗯 “Whatever barrier exists between my heart and Your Spirit, Father, let it be broken in Jesus’ name.”
🗯 “Lord, break every hindrance stopping me from worshipping You in Spirit and in truth.”
🗯 “Holy Spirit, align my thoughts, words, and actions with Your will.”
REMEMBER THIS TRUTH
Your enemies are not your greatest problem—your lack of alignment with God is. When you align with God, even in the presence of your enemies, you will thrive and glorify God.
