ARE YOU FIGHTING THE RIGHT BATTLE?
Ephesians 6:12, Psalm 32:8, Proverbs 3:5–6, Exodus 23:2, Deuteronomy 10:12, John 8:31, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Leviticus 6:12-13, Daniel 6:10
Many of us today are engaged in the wrong battles, fighting with our neighbors, accusing family members, or blaming people around us for the challenges we face. But the Bible makes it clear: Satan is our real enemy. He is the architect of our problems. Ephesians 6:12 says: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
WHY YOU MUST STOP FIGHTING EACH OTHER
1️⃣ We Are Connected 🌍
No matter your profession, religion, race, or background, we all need each other. Life is designed for interdependence:
The mouth needs words.
The ears need sound.
The eyes need a view.
The feet need to go places.
💭 “I am because you are, and you are because I am.” God has made us to complement and support one another, not fight each other.
2️⃣ Love is Your Greatest Weapon ❤️ Jesus gave us the key to overcoming our common enemy when He said: “Love your enemies and do good to those who hate you.” — Luke 6:27
Satan thrives on hatred, bitterness, and division. When you love your enemies, you destroy the power of hate, which is Satan’s strongest weapon.
Love unites; hatred divides. The devil does not want you to understand that you need the very people you are fighting.
FOCUS ON THE RIGHT ENEMY
Instead of fighting people, focus on fighting the works of the devil:
Break the chains of hatred with love.
Defeat the lies of Satan with the truth of God’s Word.
Destroy division by pursuing unity.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO TODAY
✅ Apply Yourself to Your Christian Duty:
You are a soldier of Christ. Your battle is not against people but against the enemy of your soul. Focus on destroying the works of the devil.
✅ Love God and Love Others:
The greatest commandment is to love God, and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37–39) Your love for others is a powerful weapon that disarms Satan and brings glory to God.
FINAL WORD:
Child of God, stop fighting with those around you and start fighting the real battle. Love is your greatest weapon, and unity is your greatest strength. Together, we can overcome the works of Satan and bring light to this world.
Prayer
“Lord Jesus, I refuse to fight the wrong battles. Help me to see the real enemy and to love others as You have commanded. Teach me to destroy the works of the devil through love, unity, and faith in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”
