The Violent Faith: Taking it back by Force
🔥 Recap: The Invisible War
In the first part, we learned that the “violence” in Matthew 11:12 refers not to physical aggression but to spiritual warfare — a holy determination to take back what the enemy has stolen.
The forces of darkness fight to resist God’s kingdom being established on earth. They use lust, anger, pride, worry, fear, and distraction to capture the hearts of men and delay destinies.
But the good news is this:
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” — John 1:5
No matter the intensity of the attack, no matter how fierce the temptation, you can overcome — not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6).
🌿 How Do We Overcome These Powers?
1️⃣ Never Doubt Your Salvation
Your salvation is your armor. Satan thrives on deception and doubt.
He whispers: “You are not forgiven. You are too sinful. God has left you.”
But Jesus says:
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” — John 10:27–28
You are sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13).
No demon can possess what God already owns.
2️⃣ Feed on the Word of God Daily
Prophet T.B. Joshua taught:
“The extent to which you think the thoughts of Christ, to that same extent do you have the power of Christ.”
The Word of God is not ink on paper — it is spirit and life (John 6:63).
When the Word dominates your heart, the Spirit of God dominates your life.
Even Jesus overcame Satan in the wilderness by declaring:
> “It is written!” (Matthew 4:4–10)
Every time you quote Scripture in faith, the sword of the Spirit strikes again.
3️⃣ Resist the Devil — Don’t Negotiate
“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7
Resisting means refusing to yield in thought, word, or deed.
When temptation comes, your silence is agreement — but your confession is warfare.
Declare daily:
“I am who God says I am.
I have what God says I have.
I can do what God says I can do.”
Demons recognize authority, not pity.
When you speak the name of Jesus with conviction, every chain breaks.
4️⃣ Guard Your Heart — The Battlefield is Within
Your heart is the prayer room of the Holy Spirit.
If your heart is burdened with offense, fear, or worry, the enemy finds a landing strip.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23
Keep it pure. Keep it surrendered.
A free heart attracts the presence of God, but a heavy heart invites confusion.
5️⃣ Live in Worship and Thanksgiving
Worship disarms the devil faster than shouting at him.
Why? Because when you worship, you acknowledge the supremacy of God over your circumstances.
Paul and Silas didn’t break their chains by complaining — they sang praises at midnight (Acts 16:25–26).
When your worship rises, the prison doors of your life open.
Prophet T.B. Joshua said:
“Those who make God their heart’s delight will always have their heart’s desire.”
⚔️ Finally People of God
The kingdom of darkness has declared war — but the victory has already been won at the Cross.
You don’t fight for victory; you fight from victory.
Every storm you face is an opportunity to prove that Jesus is Lord over all.
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33
Let your faith be violent in love, bold in prayer, and fierce in purity.
Let the light of Christ in you terrify darkness wherever you go.
When Satan reminds you of your past, remind him of his future.
When he tries to steal your peace, command him to go — in the name of Jesus Christ.
🔥 Prayer of Victory
“Lord Jesus Christ,
Fill me with violent faith that takes back what the enemy has stolen.
Let Your Word dominate my thoughts,
Your Spirit rule my heart,
And Your fire consume every darkness around me.
I decree: I am more than a conqueror.
The kingdom of God reigns in me, and through me,
In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.”
🌿 Remember:
The Kingdom suffers violence — but only those with holy boldness, filled with the Word and the Spirit, can take it back by force.
