🌿 When God Writes

Walking with God Begins with Listening, Learning, and Writing

📖 Psalm 102:18

“Let this be recorded for future generations, so that a people not yet born will praise the Lord.”

✍️ The Power of Writing in the Spirit

When God calls a man or woman to walk with Him, He also calls them to write for Him.
Every true walk with God births revelation — and every revelation must be recorded. Writing is not just a human art; it is a spiritual discipline — a sacred act of obedience that preserves divine revelation for generations.

“Let this be recorded for future generations, so that a people not yet born will praise the LORD.” — Psalm 102:18 (NLT)

When God walks with a person, He teaches them to document His thoughts, His dealings, and His ways. Every word He reveals carries a divine purpose beyond the moment — it is meant to outlive us and bless those yet unborn.

From Moses to Paul, from David to John, God has always raised people who didn’t just speak for Him but also wrote for Him. Writing was never a human invention — it was a divine invitation.

“To walk with God, you must learn to write for Him.”

Why? Because what God reveals to you in secret is meant to instruct generations yet unborn.

✍️ The Bible: A Product of God’s Writers

Throughout Scripture, those who walked closely with God were also writers for Him.

“Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.’” — Exodus 34:27

Moses — The First Scribe of God

God didn’t write the Ten Commandments in Moses’ memory — He wrote them on stone tablets (Exodus 31:18).
Moses didn’t just witness God’s acts; he documented them to reveal God’s character.

📖 “He revealed His character to Moses and His deeds to the people of Israel.” — Psalm 103:7

The people saw deeds, but Moses saw character.
It takes a writer’s heart to see beyond what God does to who God is.

Moses wrote the Ten Commandments and many of the foundational books of the Bible. His writings were not opinion — they were revelation.

The Apostles — Writing Under the Spirit’s Power

The apostles were not trained authors. Some were fishermen, tax collectors, and ordinary men — yet under the influence of the Holy Spirit, they wrote the Gospel that still governs our lives today.

They didn’t write for fame; they wrote from fire. Filled with the Holy Spirit, they documented the miracles, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ - not as scholars, but as witnesses of His power.
Their pens carried power because their hearts carried presence.

📖 “Men spoke from God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” — 2 Peter 1:21

Their writings became the foundation of Christian doctrine and the blueprint for every believer’s faith journey.

Apostle Paul — The Writer Who Redefined Christianity

Paul’s greatest ministry wasn’t just his travels or sermons — it was his letters.

He wrote from prisons, from ships, from deserts — yet his pen carried the revelation of God’s grace, faith, righteousness, and the mystery of Christ in us.

Each epistle was birthed in tears, trials, and revelation. His writings became the blueprint for doctrine, relationships, and Spirit-led living.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16

Through his writings, Paul continues to teach the church today. His obedience to write turned his private revelations into eternal instructions.

“What you write under the Spirit today will guide destinies tomorrow.”

🕊️ The Spirit Still Writes Today

Many seek to work for God through prophecy, healing, and miracles, but few take the time to walk with Him and write what He reveals.

Walking with God teaches His voice, His ways, and His character.
And when the Holy Spirit begins to move within you, He doesn’t first display power — He starts by expressing wisdom through reflection and writing.

“The Holy Spirit wants to express His wisdom before He expresses His power.” — Prophet TB Joshua

💭 The Principle: You Cannot Work for God Without Walking With Him

Many today want to work for God — to heal, to prophesy, to perform wonders but few want to walk with Him in quietness, humility, and learning.

When you walk with God, you receive instruction.
When you walk ahead of God, you act without direction.

Before God moves, He speaks. Before He acts, He writes.

“He revealed His character to Moses and His deeds to the people of Israel.” — Psalm 103:7

Do you see the order?

First, God revealed His character — His nature — to Moses. Then He revealed His deeds to the people.
In other words, only those who know God’s ways can interpret His works.

Prophet T.B. Joshua said:

“To know God, you must first learn His ways.”

This means you must be a student of the Spirit, not a mere worker in the vineyard.

📖 The University of God — Every Student Must Write

“In the University of God, however brilliant you may be, you will not be given double promotion. You must take every course because each course serves a purpose.” — Prophet T.B. Joshua

In this divine school, your pen and notebook are signs of submission.
Every child of God is expected to record the lessons of the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit teaches in whispers, in meditations, and in moments of stillness. If you don’t record what He tells you, you may lose your lesson.

Writing makes revelation permanent.
What you don’t record, you risk forgetting.

When you write what the Spirit tells you, you partner with God in the preservation of truth. You become His pen in a world that forgets.

The Holy Spirit Expresses Wisdom Before Power

Every act of power you see from God was first written somewhere — either in His Word or in the heart of a believer.

“God cannot entrust His power to anyone who does not love, because they will hurt themselves and others.” — Prophet T.B. Joshua

This is why the Holy Spirit first expresses wisdom before power. He teaches before He empowers. He instructs before He releases authority.

If you desire divine power, begin by desiring divine wisdom.
Write what He teaches you. Meditate on it. Live by it.

💡 Why Writing Is a Spiritual Discipline

Writing is not just an act of expression — it is an act of obedience.

  • ✍️ Writing preserves revelation.
What God says to you today may be someone else’s deliverance tomorrow.

  • 📜 Writing transforms meditation into manifestation.
What you write repeatedly, you begin to live out practically.

  • 🕊️ Writing builds intimacy with God.
You can’t write what you don’t hear; you can’t hear what you don’t value.

🔥 Love Before Power

“God cannot entrust His power to anyone who does not love, because they will hurt themselves and others.” — Prophet TB Joshua

Before God releases power, He builds love.
Before He manifests signs, He molds character.
Before He grants influence, He cultivates intimacy.

This is why the psalmist said, “He revealed His character to Moses…” (Psalm 103:7).
Character precedes calling. Revelation precedes demonstration.

If you want to write for God, let your pen be dipped in love, humility, and obedience.

🌿 Practical Steps to Walk and Write With God

  1. Create a Quiet Moment daily
Turn off distractions. Have your Bible, notebook, and heart ready. for dreams, revelations, and spiritual lessons.

  2. Record Daily Lessons
After prayer or Bible study, ask: What did the Spirit teach me today?

  3. Write down what He reveals
Anchor your entries in the Word. Let Scripture frame your reflections. Whether it’s a verse, a vision, a dream, or an impression — document it faithfully.

  4. Review your writings regularly
You will discover patterns, promises, and confirmations you missed before.

  5. Share When Led
Not all writing is for public eyes. Some is for your growth, others for generations.

  6. Live out what you write The Holy Spirit will not reveal more unless you obey the last thing he told you

🌺 Finally People of God

When you walk with God, your life becomes a letter — not written with ink, but by the Spirit of the living God.

📖 “You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone.” — 2 Corinthians 3:2

Your scars, your triumphs, your obedience — all are being written by His hand.
Let God write through you, so that generations yet unborn will rise and praise the Lord.

🙏 Prayer

Lord Jesus,
Teach me to walk closely with You and to write what You reveal.
Make me a faithful scribe of Your truth and love.
Let my words bring light to generations to come.
May my pen always serve Your purpose, not my pride.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
