Many People Seek God for Miracles and Breakthroughs—But They Never Pursue His Voice

Many Seek His Hand—Few Pursue His Voice

To learn how to hear from above after prayer is a much greater blessing than what you are looking for.
— Prophet TB Joshua

We live in a time where people flock to God for solutions—healing, deliverance, financial breakthrough, marital success— but few pause to ask:” Lord, what are you saying?“

Jesus said,

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” — John 10:27

We love His blessings, His Gifts, His Peace but we are not interested to hear His Voice.

Jesus said, “My peace I give to you, not as the World gives”—John 14:27. His peace includes His directions His Peace includes His instructions on how to maintain His blessings.

✨️Why do we care so much about the gifts and not the Giver?

Miracles may change your circumstance, but God’s voice changes your course.

God Is More Than a Crisis Response

God wants to be more than a Solution—He wants to be your source

God desires to be more than your deliverer—He wants to be your daily direction.

God is not just a rescue button to press in times of crisis. He is your Father, your Counselor, your Guide, your Source. He desires to lead, not just intervene. He wants relationship, not just requests.

“My sheep hear My voice; I know them, and they follow me”John 10:27

“Call to Me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
Jeremiah 33:3

If we only pursue His hand, we miss His heart. If we only seek relief, we miss relationship.

God Is Not Your ATM or Vending Machine

When we only approach God for outcomes, we reduce Him to a vending machine. But when we pursue His voice, we begin to walk in revelation, not Just reaction.

Jumping around from church to church seeking solutions may seem like progress to the human mind but without direction from God it is a futile mission. This is why many have fallen victim of fraud due to desperation.

Be desperate to hear God’s voice concerning your situation rather than chasing quick fixes or shortcuts to the solution.

Be desperate to hear God’s voice like Daniel did in Daniel 10. He fasted 21 days until he received understanding and direction from God.

Remember the Apostle Paul?
He pleaded three times for the thorn in his flesh to be removed. But God did something far greater—He spoke.

Be desperate to hear God’s voice like Apostle Paul. According to Prophet TB Joshua, each time is equal to a thousand times. Surely if anyone could pray it away”, it was Paul. But Instead of removing the affliction God spoke

“My grace is sufficient for you. My power is made perfect in weakness”-2 Corinthians 12: 9

The Miracle wasn’t the removal of the thorn. the miracle was the revelation, the clarity, the strength, and the peace that came through hearing God’s voice.

Sometimes God’s answer isn’t in changing your circumstance—it’s in changing you.

Sometimes God’s answer isn’t in changing your circumstance—it’s in changing you - SpiritWorshipGen

God Refines Before He Resolves

We often want quick fixes, but God is after lasting formation.

“You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.”
James 4:3

When you ask God for direction, don’t expect only comfort. Expect truth. Expect stretching. Expect refinement.

  • Sometimes He won’t remove the storm—He’ll anchor your faith.

  • Sometimes He won’t change the plan—He’ll change your heart.

  • Sometimes He won’t say “yes”—but He’ll show you “why.”

God is more interested in your alignment than your convenience. He answers with eternity in mind.

The Greater Blessing Is Hearing God After Prayer

Prayer is not a monologue—it’s a dialogue.
Yet many pray and walk away before God even responds.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10

Do we pause to listen?
Do we lean in for instruction—not just intervention?

Obedience begins with hearing. And hearing requires stillness. Your next breakthrough may not be in what you prayed—but in what He whispered after you prayed.

Final Thought: The Answer May Be in the Voice, Not the Outcome

Whether the door opens or not—will you still listen?
Whether the healing comes or not—will you still obey?

God’s voice is the compass for your life. Don’t just seek Him for solutions. Seek Him for direction.

So today: - Don’t just pray and go. Pray and wait. - Don’t just ask and expect. Ask and listen.

Because what God says after your prayer may be the real answer you’ve needed all along.
