No Matter how Long a Lie is Sustained, Truth always Prevails

Mark 8:34–38

Exactly One year ago, I felt compelled to speak up in response to a misleading documentary about my mentor and spiritual father in Christ, Prophet TB Joshua. Today, I stand by every word I wrote.

Prophet TB Joshua was a true servant of the Most High God. He believed, taught, and lived by the Word of God—and those biblical truths were evident in his life. He poured himself out for others, selflessly devoting his time, energy, and resources to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations (Mark 8:34–38). Through him, many lives were transformed and countless people encountered God’s love in profound, practical ways.

As Jesus taught, we know people by their fruits. No amount of darkness, lies, or hatred can overshadow the light, truth, and love of God. Falsehood may persist for a time, but ultimately, truth will always prevail.

Exposing the Falsehood

Let me remind you of some well known lies out of many that were peddled by his adversaries:

The Ministry will cease to exist since the overseer was no more? Instead it waxed stronger and many sons and daughters were raised. Pastor Evelyn Joshua and Evangelists conducted stadium capacity crusades in 5 countries: Zambia, South Africa, Kenya, Spain and Argentina.

The miracles and testimonies were stage managed and not real? I laugh because the miracles and testimonies have increased across the world even without TB Joshua been physically alive. What else do the naysayers have to say now?

Hmmmh…Let me drop my pen for now but please let me leave you with one last thing.

Prophet TB Joshua’s legacy lives on through those of us who strive to follow Christ as he did. Today, I know Jesus Christ, not of history or story but Jesus in the power of the Holyspirit more deeply through him. May truth always prevail.
