ARE YOU GETTING READY FOR THE BIG QUESTION?

Exodus 15:26, Matthew 22:39, John 13:12-15, 2 Corinthians 5:7, Deuteronomy 28:1-2, James 1:22, Jeremiah 29:11

WHO WILL GOD REWARD?

People of God, remember this eternal truth: God always rewards the obedient.
He does not necessarily reward those who are:
💤 Good by human standards,
💤 Smart or highly educated,
💤 Wealthy or influential.

The Bible makes it clear that God rewards obedience above all else. Obedience is the proof of our faith and love for Him.

WHEN GOD COMES TO REWARD MANKIND, THE BIG QUESTION WON’T BE:

❌ “Who comes from the North, South, East, or West?”
❌ “Who belongs to a certain political party?”
❌ “Who can read and quote the Bible from Genesis to Revelation?”
❌ “Who can preach or teach powerful sermons?”
❌ “Who can fast and pray all day?”
❌ “Who is able-bodied or physically disabled?”

THE BIG QUESTION WILL BE:

💬 “WHO IS A DOER OF THE WORD OF GOD?”
It is not enough to hear, read, or even memorize the Word of God; the true reward lies in living it out daily. Exodus 15:26 says:
“If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in His eyes, if you pay attention to His commands and keep all His decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

To be a doer of the Word is to live in and act on the Word of God.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A DOER OF THE WORD?

Living a life of obedience to God’s commands.
Forgiving others as God forgives you.
Loving your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39).
Serving others selflessly as Christ served us (John 13:12–15).
Walking by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Hearing God’s Word and acting on it.

Knowing God is not only about seeing His works (the miracles, blessings, and testimonies) but also about learning His ways—the ways of love, forgiveness, mercy, humility, and obedience.

THE WAY OF OBEDIENCE IS THE WAY OF BLESSINGS:

✔️ Blessings: God promises to bless those who obey Him (Deuteronomy 28:1–2).
✔️ Success in life: True success comes from living in alignment with God’s will (Joshua 1:8).
✔️ A bright future: Obedience to God brings hope and a prosperous future (Jeremiah 29:11).

FINAL THOUGHT:

Are you preparing for the big question?
God is not looking for the smartest, the most talented, or the most religious. He is looking for those whose lives reflect His Word—those who are doers of the Word, not just hearers (James 1:22).

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, help me to be a doer of Your Word, not just a hearer. Give me the grace to live in obedience to Your commands, that I may walk in Your blessings and fulfill Your purpose for my life. Amen.
