DO YOU KNOW THE WORDS YOU SPEAK DETERMINE THE LIFE YOU ENJOY?
Proverbs 4:23-24, Philipians 4:8, Isaiah 54:17, Deuteronomy 28:13
The words you speak are not just sounds; they carry power to shape the course of your life. Proverbs 4:23–24 reminds us to guard our hearts because everything we do flows from it.
YOUR WORDS DEFINE YOUR LEVEL:
We cannot rise above the level of our words. To live as an overcomer, you must:
👉 Manage your mind. Mind management should be your top priority because right thinking produces right speaking. Before you speak, pause and ask yourself: “Are my words in alignment with God’s Word?” (Philippians 4:8)
THE POWER OF THINKING AND SPEAKING RIGHT:
1️⃣ Right Thinking Trains You To Speak Right.
💡 What dominates your mind will dominate your mouth. If God’s Word fills your heart, your words will reflect His promises and truth.
2️⃣ Right Speaking Trains You To Act Right.
💡 What you consistently confess will eventually influence your conduct and behavior. Let your speech align with the future you desire, not the future you fear. Ephesians 4:29 encourages us to speak words that build others up and reflect God’s purpose.What Should You Do?
CHANGE YOUR WORDS, CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
Your words are seeds—plant words of faith, healing, victory, and abundance into your life and the lives of others. Psalm 141:3 says, “Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.”
❌ Stop confessing fear, doubt, worry, and sickness—these only reinforce negative outcomes.
✅ Start confessing God’s promises:
“I am the head and not the tail.” (Deut. 28:13)
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Phil. 4:13)
“No weapon formed against me shall prosper.” (Isaiah 54:17),
” I am a child of Promise. A Product of Jesus’s economy. No weapon formed against me shall prosper”
FINAL WORD:
Child of God, remember: Your words are powerful! Speak the life you desire, not the life you fear. With every word, you are sowing seeds for your tomorrow. Speak faith, hope, and love, and watch how God transforms your life.
PRAYER:
“Lord Jesus, set a guard over my mouth and let my words reflect Your promises. Renew my mind so that my thoughts, words, and actions align with Your will. Help me to speak life and faith into my future. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”
