🌿 Women: God’s Hidden Witnesses of Faith

“The Lord gives the word; the women who announce the news are a great host.” — Psalm 68:11 (ESV)

Introduction

Throughout Scripture and history, women have been central to the story of God’s redemption. They are not just mothers in the natural; they are witnesses in the Spirit - chosen to carry, announce, and testify of God’s works.

It is no coincidence that a woman was the first to hear of Christ’s coming (Mary), and a woman was the first to see Him risen (Mary Magdalene). God has always trusted women with revelation—and even today, they continue to be bold witnesses of His power.

Yet this role is not without battle—because Satan also knows the power of a woman’s witness and seeks to distort, deceive, and derail it.

1. Women Are Quick to Testify of God’s Goodness

Think about it:
If five men and five women receive healing, most likely, the women will return to testify publicly. Why? Because gratitude flows easily from their hearts.

  • Women remember mercy.

  • Women acknowledge grace.

  • Women are not ashamed to testify.

In Luke 8:2, the Bible records how many women who were delivered followed Jesus and supported His ministry out of their own means. Testimony and service flow naturally from a woman’s heart touched by God.

It is not by accident that:

  • Mary was the first to receive the angel’s revelation about the birth of Christ (Luke 1:26–31).
  • Mary Magdalene was the first to witness and proclaim His resurrection (John 20:16–18).

👉 This shows a divine principle: women often become the first witnesses of God’s greatest works.

Consider:

The woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25–34). She pressed through the crowd with faith, and when healed, she testified openly.

Hannah, who cried to God for a son and returned to dedicate Samuel in gratitude (1 Samuel 1:27–28).

Women understand the value of God’s intervention and are quicker to give Him the glory.

Prophet TB Joshua taught:

“When God chooses to use you, He begins by showing you His mercy. The one who has received mercy cannot keep silent.”

And women, by their nature of openness and compassion, often speak boldly of God’s mercy.

2. Women Are Often the First to Point Others to Redemption

In 2 Kings 5, a young servant girl pointed mighty Naaman to the prophet Elisha, where he found his healing. She wasn’t a prophet, a priest, or a general—just a humble girl, yet her witness changed Naaman’s life forever.

This shows us that God often uses women as pointers to salvation and deliverance.3. Women as Pointers to Redemption

3. Women’s Are Vulnerable but Also More Open to Deliverance

From Eve in the garden to modern times, Satan has targeted women because of their influence in shaping generations.

Women are more prone to demonic manipulation (Genesis 3:13); this is why women constitute 8 out of every 10 deliverance from demonic possession in living churches yet when they turn to God, they are also quicker to surrender, quicker to believe, and quicker to be delivered and quicker to be used by God to spread His Message of salvation.

When women truly decide for God, their faith becomes unstoppable.

Women may be targeted for deception, but when they believe, they believe with depth and sincerity.

This explains why Jesus ministered often to women:

  • To the Samaritan woman at the well, who became the first evangelist of her village (John 4:28–30).

  • To Mary of Bethany, who sat at His feet while others were busy (Luke 10:39).

4. Satan’s Modern Strategy Against Women

Knowing how powerful women are as witnesses, Satan invests heavily in corrupting this influence:

  • Through feminism divorced from God’s design, turning equality into rebellion.
  • Through sexual confusion and LGBTQ ideologies, distorting the very womb God ordained to birth His generals into the world.

By manipulating women, Satan seeks to weaken families, dilute faith, and silence witnesses. But God’s Word remains: women are essential to His redemptive plan.

5. Women as Birthers of Generals

Satan knows the womb of a woman is not just biological—it is prophetic.

Every prophet, every preacher, every deliverer came through a woman’s womb. Women are not just witnesses, they are birthers of destiny.

  • Sarah birthed Isaac, the child of promise.
  • Hannah birthed Samuel, the prophet who anointed kings.
  • Mary birthed Jesus, the Savior of the world.
  • Prophet TB Joshua’s Mother, carried the pregnancy of Prophet TB Joshua for 15 months. When he was finally born—on the day of the baby christening, a mighty rock flew from an ongoing rock excavation and smashed the roof of the hut where the baby lay and by a mighty force of God the baby’s position was shifted and the rock fell right beside the baby.

👉 No wonder Satan attacks women so fiercely—they are chosen vessels to birth both life and legacy.

Conclusion: We Need More Women of Faith

In the New Testament, women were not silent spectators. They:

  • Anointed Jesus with oil before His burial (Mark 14:3–9).

  • Followed Him even to the cross (John 19:25).

  • Gathered in the upper room at Pentecost (Acts 1:14).

The enemy fears women who walk in faith because they multiply testimonies, multiply disciples, and multiply the presence of God in homes, churches, and nations.

The church and the world need more women who:

  • Testify boldly of God’s works.
  • Birth destinies in prayer and intercession.
  • Reject Satan’s distortions and embrace God’s design.

🌿 Finally Sisters and Mothers in Christ:
Women, your role is not secondary—it is strategic. When you believe, testify, and stand as witnesses, you shake the kingdom of darkness and glorify your Father in heaven.

“We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.” — Revelation 12:11

🔥You are not weak vessels—you are witnesses of power.

🔥You are not overlooked—you are God’s chosen announcers of His goodness.

🔥You are not a mistake—you are part of the divine strategy to birth deliverance and revival.

🙏 Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for the gift of women in Your Kingdom. Raise up women of faith in this generation—women who testify, women who intercede, women who birth Your generals, and women who stand against the lies of satan. Strengthen their voices and preserve their destinies, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
