Figure 1: 🔥 Your Title Won’t Take You to Heaven: Only Relationship Will - SpiritWorshipGen

🕊️ Your Title Won’t Take You to Heaven

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.” — Matthew 7:21

🎭 The Illusion of Titles

We live in a time where spiritual titles are celebrated, flaunted, and pursued—Prophet, Apostle, Bishop, Evangelist, Pastor, Seer, Psalmist, Minister, Choir leader, CEO, Managing Director, Governor, Senator, Commissioner, Engineer, Overseer, Founder etc . But heaven doesn’t recognize titles. It recognizes relationshipday’s church, spiritual titles are often worn like crowns. But heaven does not recognize crowns made by men—it recognizes hearts submitted to God.

🔔 On That Day, Titles Will Not Matter

On the last day, God won’t say:
> “John is a Prophet. Allow him to enter.”

On the last day, God will not call your title, He will search your relationship.

“On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name…?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from Me, you evildoers!’” — Matthew 7:22–23

Let that sink in.

The credentials that impress people here on earth carry no weight before the throne of God. Heaven will not be moved by how many miracles you performed, how many followers you had, or what you were called by men.

Instead, the only thing that matters is this:

Did you know Him? Did He know you?

“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name…?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from Me.’” — Matthew 7:22–23

🌱 What Will Take You to Heaven?

Not your performance.
Not your popularity.
Not your platform.

Only your relationship with Jesus will open the gates of Heaven.

Prophet TB Joshua once said:

“Many are working for God without a relationship with Him. Don’t be surprised—God does not know them.”

🧭 Titles Are Roles—Not Relationships

  • Judas had the title of disciple, but he did not have the relationship.

  • Lucifer had a title—“Morning Star”—but lost heaven because of pride and disobedience.

  • The Pharisees had the title of religious leaders, but they did not know God.

  • Saul had the title of king, but he lost God’s presence.

Yet:

  • The thief on the cross had no title, no ministry, no ordination—but he entered paradise because he humbly turned to Jesus in sincere relationship.

  • The woman with the alabaster jar had no position—but she poured her heart before the Lord.

  • The Roman centurion had no pulpit—but Jesus said, “I have not seen such great faith.”

These stories remind us: God weighs the heart, not the résumé.

📍 What God Looks At

God is not opposed to spiritual offices. He Himself appoints apostles, prophets, pastors (Ephesians 4:11). But these roles are assignments, not admission passes into heaven.

  • Your assignment is what you do for God.
  • Your relationship is who you are with God.

God is not impressed by how much you serve in public if you don’t walk with Him in private.

God sees past the microphone and into the heart. He is looking for:

  • A surrendered will, not a successful platform.
  • Obedience, not just oration.
  • Worship in spirit and truth, not just words.

Title without relationship is noise without power.

Gift without surrender is charisma without Christ.

Work without worship is effort without eternal reward.

🛑 Stop Trying to Be Called Something—Start Living as a Child

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:21

Notice, Jesus doesn’t say, “Well done, good and faithful bishop.”
He’s not impressed by ecclesiastical accolades. He is pleased with faithful hearts.

🔥 Check Your Heart, Not Just Your Name Tag

“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.” — 2 Corinthians 13:5

If your prayer life is dry, your worship is shallow, and your love for people is fading—yet you’re clinging to a title—you may be building on sand.

Let this be your spiritual audit: - Don’t let your function become your identity. - Don’t let your activity replace your intimacy. - Don’t let the spotlight blind you from the Lamb’s light.

🧎‍♂️ What Truly Matters

“Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart…” — Psalm 24:3–4

God is after:

  • A pure heart — Psalm 24:3–4
  • A humble walk — Micah 6:8
  • A faithful life — Hebrews 11:6
  • A submitted will — Romans 12:1–2
  • A lasting relationship with Christ — John 15:4

In the end, the most powerful name isn’t “General” or “Apostle”—it’s child of God.

🙏 Final Prayer

“LORD, strip me of anything that distracts from my relationship with You. Let my heart not be deceived by titles or applause. Help me to walk with You in truth, humility, obedience, and love. May I be found faithful—not just before men—but before You, my King.”

👣 Take This With You:

Titles may give you influence before men,
but only relationship gives you entrance before God.

Build your relationship.
Protect your relationship.
Live from your relationship.
