March with God Before You March for Him: A Journey of Faith
Are You Ready to March With Him?
Ephesians 6:15,Psalm 119:11,Ephesians 6:17 -18
“To march with God is the time to sacrifice, and to march for Him is the time of grace and blessing.” — TB Joshua
The Process of Marching With God
Many of us desire to march for God—to enjoy His blessings, grace, and glory—but we often overlook the critical process of first learning to march with Him.
🌱 God is a God of Process
God Himself honors His Word and follows process because He created process.
Before you can march for Him, you must first march with Him.
Marching with God requires obedience, sacrifice, and surrender. It is about allowing His Word to dominate your heart and letting Him guide your life’s journey.
Peace of Heart Comes From the Word of God
To march with God, you need His peace of heart, and this peace comes only from the Word of God.
Ephesians 6:15 reminds us:
“For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.”
Without the Word of God as the foundation of your life, you will lack the peace needed to navigate this world of sin, evil, and uncertainty.
How to Keep God’s Peace in Your Heart
Hide the Word in Your Heart
Psalm 119:11 says:
“I have hidden your word in my heart that I may not sin against you.”When the Word of God dominates your heart, it protects you from sin, fear, and the distractions of the world.
Meditate on the Word
Ephesians 6:17:
“Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.”The only way to keep God’s Word in your heart at all times is through meditation. Make it a daily habit to think deeply about His promises and instructions.
Pray in the Spirit
Ephesians 6:18:
“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion.”Constant prayer, guided by the Holy Spirit, ensures that your heart remains aligned with God’s will.
The Blessing of Marching For God
Once you’ve marched with God—allowing Him to shape you through His Word and process—you can then march for Him.
Marching for God is the time of:
Grace: Experiencing His unmerited favor.
Blessing: Enjoying the fruit of obedience and alignment with His will.
Key Reminder:
The success of marching for God depends on how well you’ve learned to march with Him. Without peace of heart and direction from His Word, your efforts may lead to frustration instead of fulfillment.
Practical Steps to March With God
Let His Word Dominate Your Heart
Spend time daily reading and meditating on Scripture.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you apply the Word in your life.
Surrender to His Process
Trust that God’s timing and ways are perfect, even when you don’t understand them.
Be willing to sacrifice your own plans and desires to align with His will.
Pray Without Ceasing
Stay in constant communication with God through prayer.
Pray in the Spirit to strengthen your faith and maintain peace in your heart.
Focus on Peace, Not Circumstances
Don’t let fear, worry, or the pressures of life steal your peace.
Let the Word of God guard your heart and keep you anchored in faith.
Prayer
🙏 Father, teach me to march with You before I march for You. Help me to hide Your Word in my heart, meditate on it daily, and pray without ceasing. Give me the peace of heart that only Your Word can provide, and guide me in Your perfect process. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
