I PRAY YOUR FAITH WILL NOT FAIL
I PRAY YOUR FAITH WILL NOT FAIL
Luke 5:1-6, 1 Corinthians 10:13, James 1:2-4
Faith in the Midst of Challenges
When challenges arise, do you find yourself doubting if you have faith? Instead of allowing difficulties to weaken your faith in God, let them strengthen your belief, deepen your prayer life, and encourage you to fast more. Challenges are not meant to destroy you—they are opportunities for your faith to grow!
What should you avoid thinking?
❌️ “I don’t have faith—that’s why the challenges are still there.”
❌️ “I don’t have faith—that’s why the pain is still there.”
❌️ “I don’t understand what is happening to me.”
These thoughts are lies the enemy wants you to believe. Remember this: You are not the source of faith; God is. You cannot manufacture faith on your own—God is both the Giver and the Source of faith.
What Should You Do Instead?
✅ Yield Yourself to God and His Instructions
Faith grows when you act on God’s Word. In Luke 5:1-6, Peter followed Jesus’ instructions even after a long, unproductive night of fishing. Despite his doubts, Peter obeyed—and his dark moment turned into a miracle.
“But because You say so, I will let down the nets.” (Luke 5:5)
✅ Grow Your Faith Through the Word
Faith comes by hearing and doing God’s Word. Start reading the Bible slowly, repeatedly, and attentively, and commit to applying what it says.
Romans 10:17:
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
✅ Recognize That Challenges Are Part of Life
Prophet T.B. Joshua reminds us that unchangeable events may occur in our lives. These moments are God-ordained and must be faced with courage, faith, and endurance.
No amount of prayer or fasting can remove what God has allowed for your spiritual benefit, but He will give you the strength to fight through it.
God’s Promises for Difficult Times
God Won’t Let You Be Overwhelmed
1 Corinthians 10:13:
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”Whatever you’re going through, God knows your limits and has already made a way for you to overcome it.
Challenges Grow Your Faith
James 1:2-4:
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”Instead of asking, “Why me?” ask, “What is God teaching me through this?”
Jesus Is with You in the Storm
- Just as Jesus was with His disciples during the storm, He is with you in your trials. Matthew 28:20:
“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
- Just as Jesus was with His disciples during the storm, He is with you in your trials. Matthew 28:20:
Faith in Unchangeable Situations
Prophet T.B. Joshua teaches us that:
Some challenges are unchangeable events—part of God’s plan to refine us and draw us closer to Him.
When they come, prayer and fasting won’t remove them. Instead, you must dig deep in faith and fight through them.
These moments are tests of your faith and trust in God’s sovereignty. True Christians are recognized by how they respond to challenges.
Practical Steps to Strengthen Your Faith in Challenges
Don’t Measure Your Faith by Your Challenges
- Challenges don’t mean you lack faith—they are opportunities to grow in faith.
Keep Believing, Even When Things Seem Bad
- Jesus values your faith the most when you trust Him in the worst moments of life.
Rely on God’s Strength, Not Your Own
- Philippians 4:13:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
- Philippians 4:13:
Pray and Meditate on God’s Word Daily
- Prayer and Scripture anchor you in God’s promises, giving you the strength to endure.
Encourage Yourself with Testimonies
- Reflect on how God has delivered you in the past, and declare that He will do it again.
A Prayer to Strengthen Your Faith
“Lord Jesus, I thank You for being the Giver of faith. Help me to trust You more in times of challenges. Teach me to yield myself to Your Word and instructions, just as Peter did. Strengthen my heart to endure the unchangeable events You allow for my growth. I believe that You will not let me be tempted beyond what I can bear. Jesus, I declare that my faith will not fail. Thank You for being my strength and my guide in every storm. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Final Encouragement
Don’t let difficulties cause you to doubt your faith. Instead, let them push you closer to God. The storms of life are not meant to destroy you but to strengthen and refine you. Believe in God’s promises, act on His Word, and your faith will grow spontaneously.
Declaration
“My faith will not fail in Jesus’ name! Amen.”
