Will You Be Counted Among the Saved on the Last Day?
Will You Be Counted Among the Saved on the Last Day?
Acts 2:21
“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Joshua 24:15
“Choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served…but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
The Most Important Decision of Your Life
On the last day, where will you stand? Will you be among those who rest in eternity because they found salvation in Christ Jesus, or will you be among those standing outside, watching others enter the Kingdom of God?
Today, you have a choice to make. The decision to follow Christ is not one of convenience but of absolute commitment. It is about surrendering your heart and life to Him, allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to work in and through you.
Faith Is Not About Talk, but Power
Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 4:20, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”
We live in a time when many people speak eloquently about God but lack the evidence of His power in their lives. Churches are filled with empty words, but the sick go home sick, the bound remain bound, and the lost remain lost. But the true Kingdom of God is revealed in power, not just in persuasive speech or charisma.
James 2:17:
“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
Faith without action is lifeless. The Gospel is not a theory or philosophy but the power of God unto salvation, healing, deliverance, and restoration.
Have You Witnessed the Power of God?
When you encounter the real Jesus—the Jesus of the Bible who works through the power of the Holy Spirit—you will witness His power in action. This is not a God of empty words but one whose works confirm His Word.
I have seen with my own eyes:
The lame walk, the blind see, and the sick healed.
The oppressed set free and the captives delivered.
Faith turned into tangible works that glorify God.
This is the arena of liberty, the place where God’s power flows mightily and lives are transformed. This is what the Book of Acts describes, and this is what every true believer should hunger for—a practical faith that produces visible results.
Where Do You Stand Today?
Joshua 24:15 challenges us to make a choice:
“Choose you this day whom ye will serve.”
Will you serve the gods of this world—gods of blasphemy, pride, self-righteousness, and empty religion? Or will you serve the Lord Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit?
Acts 2:21 gives us the promise of salvation:
“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
But calling on His name is not just lip service—it is a surrender of your life, your will, and your heart to Him. It is allowing the Holy Spirit to transform you from the inside out.
Practical Christianity: The Arena of Liberty
If you know the arena of liberty—the place where God’s power overflows and His Spirit moves mightily—you know what it means to see faith in action. You know what it means to witness the miraculous power of God that changes lives.
This is the Christianity of the Book of Acts, where:
The lame man at the temple gate called Beautiful rose and walked (Acts 3:2-8).
Paul and Silas, imprisoned and chained, prayed and praised God, and the prison doors flew open (Acts 16:25-26).
The shadow of Peter healed the sick, and unclean spirits fled (Acts 5:15-16).
If you have experienced or know such a place, declare it boldly! Let the world know that God is still moving today in power, just as He did in the early church.
A Call to Action
Today, the choice is yours:
Surrender your life to Jesus: Call on His name and receive salvation.
Seek the power of the Holy Spirit: Ask God to fill you with His Spirit and make you a vessel for His glory.
Live a faith of action: Let your faith be demonstrated through works that glorify God.
Prayer of Commitment
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to You. I choose this day to serve You and You alone. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your power be evident in my life. I don’t want a faith of mere words but a faith that produces action and glorifies Your name. Help me to stand firm in You, to walk in Your will, and to proclaim Your goodness wherever I go. Thank You for saving me, healing me, and delivering me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Final Question
Do you know that place, that arena of liberty where God’s power never stops overflowing?
God bless you. Choose Christ and WIN today!
